Someone once saw themselves in that thirsty deer wandering in search of a stream. With that longing soul in mind, I created a platform of three spaces—the Chapel, the Café, and the Closet—as an invitation to those who find themselves on a similar journey.
A deer is attentive to the faintest stirrings of the forest. It senses shifts in the wind and hears unfamiliar footsteps from afar, always alert and awake. For this reason, the deer has long been a symbol of the awakened soul and the heart that listens with deep sensitivity.
It is easy to imagine the urgency of a deer overcome with thirst. In much the same way, our souls are continually flowing—sometimes quietly, sometimes wildly—in search of something like a life-giving stream. This is why I chose the name Soul Flowing for a space dedicated to spiritual direction and inner reflection.
Soul Flowing is a place where we attend to the subtle movements and gentle whispers within, and where the dialogue of the heart continues to unfold.
